Precautionary recall issued for Tampico Mango Punch
From STAFF REPORTS
H-E-B is issuing a precautionary recall for Tampico Mango Punch sold by the gallon at the H-E-B store in Waxahachie.
The drink, which has a sell by date of Oct. 23, 2007, could possibly contain residual milk.
While the product is safe to drink, H-E-B is issuing the recall as a precaution for customers who may be allergic to milk products. Customers may return the product to any H-E-B for a full refund. This is an isolated incident specific only to the Tampico Mango Punch flavor with an Oct. 23, 2007 sell by date.
H-E-B is committed to the highest standards of food safety for our customers, said Winell Herron, group vice president of public affairs and diversity. We want to take every precaution possible when it comes to the integrity and quality of all products sold in our stores.
