On Monday, May 14, visitors to the Waxahachie ISD’s Web site will see a new look.

For the past six months, district officials have been working on re-creating the district’s Web site. The final product will go live May 14.

“We wanted to give users a Web site that was informative and extremely user-friendly,” said Nicole Mansell, director of public relations. “It was important to create a site that adequately represented Waxahachie ISD in the 21st century.”

Since October, the public relations and technology departments have been working together to design and implement the new site.

“The WISD technology department is by far one of the best I have ever worked with,” Mansell said. “We have some extremely talented individuals in our technology group.”

In April, the site was piloted to a test group prior to launch to ensure that users would be able to easily navigate the site and gain the information needed while visiting. After receiving feedback and making changes, the decision was made to go forward.

The Web site address remains the same at www.wisd.org.
