One of the highlights each year of homecoming week at Navarro College is the annual luncheon, which will be held this year from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in Gibson Hall.

All members of the Barracks Bunch are invited to attend along with alumni.

“You do not have to be a graduate of Navarro, just a former student,” a spokesman said.

In addition to lunch, several scholarships will be awarded and Rodney Haedge’s Collegiate Singers will provide the musical entertainment.

“We will relive some of Navarro’s rich history,” said vice president of institutional advancement, Dr. Tommy Stringer. “So if you are a Navarro ex-student, please join us for lunch on Oct. 6. Many of the attendees will be from the Barracks Bunch and former students from various eras will also be present.

“We are making a concerted effort to reconnect with our former students,” Stringer said. “If you consider yourself among Navarro’s alumni, this offer applies to you.”

The cost is $12 per person.
