MAYS LANDING, N.J. (AP) — A patron accused of gunning down an employee inside Atlantic City's Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort is due in court Thursday.
Mark Magee is charged with murder and weapons offenses. He is accused of shooting Ray Kot, a shift manager who had been with the casino since it opened in 1990.
Trump Entertainment Resorts CEO Mark Juliano says Kot was shot three to four times in a nonpublic office just off the casino floor Wednesday. The Egg Harbor Township resident died a few hours later.
The 57-year-old Magee is from Norristown, Pa., and apparently knew Kot. State police say he is being held on $1 million bail.
