FLORAL PARK, N.Y. (AP) -Parents holding the hands of young children were among the mourners who streamed into a Long Island church to remember five family members killed in a parkway crash.

A funeral was being held Thursday for Diane Schuler, her 2-year-old daughter and three of her nieces.

Three Yonkers men also were killed Sunday when Schuler drove a minivan the wrong way on the Taconic Parkway in Briarcliff Manor. She had complained of feeling disoriented and having vision problems.

On Thursday, the sound of bagpipes filled the air outside the church. The Floral Park village green was set up for an overflow crowd.

The funeral cards included a request that mourners hold onto happy memories of those lost.
