MAYPEARL - The community’s country fair has been an annual affair for many years, but in just the past two years, Maypearl has scheduled the event to coincide with the Antique Alley Shopping Trail.

“I just love this,” Maypearl resident Marie Jettson said. “It would be even more fun if it wasn’t so hot.”

Maypearl’s main street was packed with vendors - some selling clearance items from stores and others selling second-hand items. The event also featured plenty of barbecue, sausage on a stick, smoked turkey, funnel cakes and cold drinks.

A classic car display was on the parking lot of Cowboy Bank, with carnival rides located directly.
