A blood marrow registration drive was held Saturday in the Wal-Mart parking lot by Carter BloodCare in support of Waxahachie High School senior Jarrod Moore, who has acute lymphomic leukemia and is in need of a marrow and stem-cell transplant.

In addition to filling out paperwork, participants provided a swab sample to determine if they were match.

Carter BloodCare will hold a second marrow registration drive from noon-5 p.m. May 21 at the First Christian Church family life center on Brown Street.
