In June, eight students from Alvarado High School’s Principal’s Advisory Council traveled to Austin to the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals’ Summer Work Shop to make a presentation on the benefits of a PAC on school culture. “The presentation went very well,” AHS principal Kenneth Estes said. “Over 56 people attended the presentation and many stayed afterwards to talk to the kids and compliment their efforts. We are proud of our students. They truly shined and represented AISD and Alvarado very well.”
