Junior Master Gardeners of Johnson County invite the community to a winter craft class at the McGregor house in the Winston Patrick McGregor Park, 1628 W. Henderson, Cleburne (next to the Wal-Mart), from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Dec. 8.

All of the projects will use recycled materials and things out of nature.

Projects include:

Holiday wrapping paper

Bring one large paper grocery sack to use as your paper.

Bring many things from your yard such as: flowers, sticks, leaves, rocks, fossils, feathers, seeds and grass. We will use these items to decorate the wrapping paper

Bird feeder

Bring one 2-liter bottle and two wooden spoons.

Grow cards for Christmas

Learn to make cards with recycled materials, natural dyes and seeds. The card can be planted in the garden for the seeds to grow.

Bring one paper grocery sack, seeds provided or you can bring seeds of your choice.

Egg Head Sprouts

Learn how to grow your own bean sprouts.

Bring three eggshells and a section from an egg carton to hold your egg shells. Seeds are provided.
