The Social Security Administration has announced the most popular baby names in Texas for 2010. Jacob and Isabella topped the list.
The top five boys and girls names for 2010 in Texas were: boys – Jacob, Jose, Jayden, Angel and David; girls – Isabella, Sophia, Emma, Emily and Mia.
Last week the federal government’s top official for baby names, Michael J. Astrue, commissioner of Social Security, announced Isabella and Jacob were the most popular baby names in the U.S.
