The coolest temperature was 67 degrees on July 7. The warmest temperature was a scorching 106 degrees on July 18. The over-all average for July 2006 was 86.7 degrees or 1.9 degrees above normal.

I recorded 10 consecutive days that reached 100 degrees or above, July 12-21, and a total of 14 days that reached 100 degrees or above during July 2006.
