The Lancaster Police Department is asking for assistance in locating a critical missing runaway.

Fifteen-year-old Autumn Brooks was reported as a runaway from the family home in the 200 block of Melrose by her mother late Thursday evening. Brooks’ mother reported that she had last seen Autumn leaving for school Thursday morning wearing an orange shirt, black jeans and white tennis shoes. Autumn is 5’9” and weighs approximately 215 pounds. She has short black hair and brown eyes.

The teenager's mother, Pamela Brooks, reported to police her child is on medication and does not have the medication with her. Mrs. Brooks also told police that her daughter has been apparently talking with several males on a telephone chat line - and that she may have been using the nickname of "Ke Ke."

Due to the amount of time Autumn has been missing and the danger she faces from not taking her medication, the public is asked to help in locating her. Anyone with information regarding Autumn’s whereabouts is asked to call Lancaster Police at 972-218-2711, or your local police department.
