Helping Hands of Ennis is in need of food and staple items for their outreach program. Donations of protein sources such as tuna, peanut butter, canned meats, powdered milk and any other items would be appreciated.

Nov. 17 - The Lusk family of Italy will be holding a BBQ supper fund-raiser at the Sokol Hall beginning at 5 p.m. The event is a fund-raiser to help the family send their 4-year old son that suffers from Battens disease for clinical studies. Nov. 17 - Travis Elementary school will host their annual carnival fund-raiser from 11 am - 2 pm at the school. There will be lots of games, activities and prizes for the kids. The public is invited to attend.
Nov. 17 - The VFW Ladies Auxiliary will host a bingo night with proceeds to benefit St. John Catholic School. Games start at 7:30 p.m.
Nov. 18 - A fund-raiser will be held at the KJT Hall to benefit Greg McElroy who is recovering from a brain tumor. Admission is $12 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 and children 6 and under eat free.
For those wanting to join in the festivities after lunch, admission will be $5. The barbecue lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Live auction from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Silent auction and raffle will be announced at 5:30 p.m.
