The Waxahachie Police Department is asking the community’s help in identifying the culprit(s) responsible for multiple cases of criminal mischief reported this week.

“We’ve had a rash of vandalism over the last two nights,” detective Lt. Todd Woodruff said. “We’ve had car windows broken out on Bryson Street, Cornell Street, Farley Street and the Gingerbread Village neighborhood (including Morene, Modene and Audra streets).”

Cases were reported from Tuesday and Wednesday nights, Woodruff said, saying police have determined the suspect(s) used a BB gun in majority of the cases.

“They may be on foot or skateboards,” Woodruff said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Waxahachie Police Department’s criminal investigation division at 972-937-9940.
