AVALON — All former students, residents, teachers and family of the Avalon alumni are invited to attend the biennial homecoming planned for Sunday, June 10.
Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a barbecue lunch at 12:30 p.m.
The cost per person is $8, which includes dessert.
The classes of 1956 and 1957 will be recognized. Anyone with information about these classes is asked to contact Tommie Worthy at (972) 627-3447.
The program will include presentations by Superintendent David DelBosque on the current school curriculum with the assistance of other personnel on the staff.
Also, the program will feature alumni Roger Williams on the saxophone.
The homecoming will be held in the air-conditioned Avalon Multipurpose Center.
