In honor of Earth Day, Alvarado Elementary South students raised money with $1 donations for a walk. Some of the students walked to the public library, some to walked to City Park and others planned nature walks around the school. Fourth-grade students had worksheets to fill out as they found certain animals, flowers or trees.
