HOUSTON - Retail gasoline prices continued to ease for the fourth week in a row across Texas this week.

Retail prices of regular-grade gasoline averaged $2.91 per gallon in the 11 Texas cities surveyed by the weekly AAA Texas gasoline price survey released Friday. That was 4 cents less than last week.

The national average fell 5 cents to $3 a gallon.

El Paso had the state's highest average retail price for regular grade at $3.13 per gallon. Corpus Christi saw the lowest average price of $2.78 per gallon. Both were down 6 cents from last week.

These are average per-gallon prices of regular, self-serve gasoline in Texas metro areas and the change from last week, according to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch released Friday:

Austin-San Marcos - $2.920, down 2.6 cents

Amarillo - $3.081, down 2.2 cents

Beaumont - $2.815, down 4.2 cents

Corpus Christi - $2.781, down 6.2 cents

Dallas - $2.894, down 4.0 cents

El Paso - $3.130, down 6.3 cent

Fort Worth - $2.872, down 4.6 cents

Galveston-Texas City - $2.882, down 6.5 cents

Houston - $2.871, down 4.7 cents

San Antonio - $2.891, down 5.9 cents

Texarkana (Texas only) - $2.841, down 2.5 cents
