From Saint Louis Brass to Latin Jazz, or even Beethoven to Mozart, there is something for everyone in the Waxahachie Symphony Associations 2018–19 season.

The new season kicks off Sept. 15 with a concert by the Miró Quartet at the Hagee Center at Southwestern Assemblies of God University.

Hailed by the New York Times as possessing “explosive vigor and technical finesse,” the colorful and dynamic Miró Quartet is one of America’s highest-profile chamber groups on the international music scene. This quartet captivates audiences and critics around the world with their fiery intensity and fresh perspective.

Tickets are $20 for adults, children are free.

Since 1979, Waxahachie has been privileged to have the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra perform the same musical programs that they play in Bass Hall. That annual performance returns Saturday, May 4.

Other outstanding artists scheduled for the season include Saint Louis Brass, Henry Brun and the Latin Playerz, and Pianist Sean Chen.
