Marvin Dan Morris, age 82, of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday evening May 3, 2018 in Ennis. He was born October 1, 1935 in Pine Valley, OK to Joab and Mable M. (Underwood) Morris. He retired from American Airlines as a mechanic after 31 years of employment. Morris was a founder of the Ellis County Opry and a member of the Tulsa Kit Car Club and Midlothian Cool Cars.

Survivors include his wife, Charmaine Morris; daughters, Loretta Forbes and husband Bruce and their family, Debra Allison Morris and her family, Pamela McCann and husband Jerry and their family; son, Gary Watts and wife Kimmy and their family and daughter, Lindy Weir and her husband Jim and their family; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved him and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be 2 PM to 4PM Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10AM Monday, May 7, 2018 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Zimmerman officiating.

Interment will be at 10 AM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Woodland Cemetery in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
