To the Editor,
As our community continues to grow and prosper, local elections become more and more important each year. As parents of three young children, two of which currently attend school in WISD and one who is on the way, one of the most important local elections to us is the election of trustees for the school board. That is why I would like to ask you to join us in supporting, and most importantly voting for Stephanie Jennings Singleton as a trustee for WISD.
I have known Stephanie for more than 30 years. We went to school together growing up and we were in the same graduating class at Waxahachie High School. After graduating near the top of our high school class Stephanie excelled at Texas A&M undergrad, and then Baylor dental school where she was on the dean’s list all four years. After dental school, Stephanie chose to move back to Waxahachie to open her dental practice, and today owns and operates a thriving practice in our community. Throughout her life, Stephanie has always demonstrated strong leadership skills, the upmost integrity, and the ability to think critically and make tough decisions; all skills and traits necessary to serve the children and staff as a trustee of WISD. Stephanie is a stakeholder in our community and is dedicated to continuing to reinvest her talents and resources to ensure that we continue to make positive strides in our school district and our community.
Early voting starts April 23rd, and the Election Day is Saturday May 5th. Please get out and cast a vote for Stephanie Jennings Singleton.
