Eunice Laverne French went to be with the Lord February 23, 2018, at the age of 78. Born June 24, 1939, to Elton and Gladys Boroughs in Brownfield, TX. Laverne has been a longtime resident of Midlothian. She began to serve the Lord at age 13 as a pianist for Creekside Baptist Church. Then served at a church for many years in Monahans, TX. After moving to Midlothian in 1972, she served as pianist and organist at Calvary Baptist Church for a number of years. Her hobbies included family, quilting, gardening, sewing, raising chickens, playing Skip-Bo and traveling. Laverne was preceded in death by her husband, Bill French, daddy, Elton Borough, brother, Wayne Boroughs, sister, Joyce Stice and daughter-in-law, Debbie Dunlap. She taught her children the importance of God in their lives and the love for family. She is survived by her mother, Gladys Boroughs, sister, Janie Belford, brother, Hubert Boroughs, children, Jack Dunlap, Pam Henley and husband, Danny, Janet Dunlap and Michelle Conley and husband, Mark, grandchildren, Jack Jr. and wife, Heidi, Burford Dunlap, Diana Dunlap and Daniel Henley and wife, Jennifer, David Henley and wife, Amanda, Drew Henley and wife, Kylie, Dusty Dunlap, Marshall Conley and Mason Conley, great-grandchildren, Seth, Noe, Dallas, Sidney, Danni, Lent, Kaci, Cason, Aubrey, Brandon and Nicky, aunt, Sue Burgess and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
