The Lady Indian offense just never found its groove Tuesday night in Mansfield against the Summit Jaguars.
Mansfield Summit scored 12 or more points in each of the four quarters of the 52-41 win, while Waxahachie reached double digits only once in a frame (16 points in the 4th).
Sarah Bush led the Lady Indians with 16 points. Diamond Atchison scored nine. Mya Williams and Rayna Ross both added six points, while Cassidy Morgan and Jordan McGee finished with two points, each.
The loss dropped Waxahachie to 20-9 on the season and 7-3 in District 10-5A. The Lady Indians currently sit in third place of the district standings with four games to play.
Midlothian is one game back of Waxahachie at 6-4 after falling Tuesday to Mansfield Legacy, while Summit is one game ahead at 8-2. Mansfield Timberview is still undefeated in 10-5A (10-0) and 29-2 on the season.

The Lady Indians close out the season on the road Jan. 30 against Midlothian and Friday, Feb. 6 against No. 1 Mansfield Timberview. Their final home game of the regular season is next Friday, Feb. 2 against Mansfield Legacy.
