Kelly Brownlow Bell was born August 19, 1962, in Dallas and was adopted by Jerry Brownlow and Dortha Bozarth. She departed this life October 7, 2017, in Dallas. Kelly dearly loved her grandchildren; she was a part-time employee at Home Depot and a full-time Nana. She is a glorified example of how people can change. She was a “people” person and enjoyed meeting people, helping them and being involved in the children’s workshop at Home Depot. Kelly loved boating and skiing at Cedar Creek Lake with her brother and family. She loved animals, especially dogs, and her favorite music artist was Luke Bryan. Some of Kelly’s most recent memories include a family beach vacation to Destin, Florida with her daughter and family, a Ranger game and a Luke Bryan concert with her friends and family, and being part of a family wedding. These events brought Kelly great joy because of her love for her family and, especially, her grandchildren.
Kelly was a registered organ donor and, because of her selfless and giving spirit, two different lives were saved through the donation of both of her kidneys. Her family is thankful and comforted knowing that a part of Kelly will live through others for years to come.
Kelly is survived by her children, Jessica Lopez and husband Michael and Robert Graham; grandchildren,McKinli and Lucas Lopez and many honorary grandchildren; brother, Ki Brownlow and wife Jaci; sister,Tammy Steele and husband Michael; step-mother, Judy Brownlow; nephews, Cody and Casey Brownlow and Nick Steele; niece, Lindsay Millman and husband Les, and by members of the Bell family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dortha Robertson and Jerry Brownlow, husband Mark Bell, and step-father L.O. Robertson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 6:00 P.M. at the Grace Church of Ovilla, located at 519 Westmoreland Rd, Ovilla, TX 75154 with Justin Jackson officiating.
