The Waxahachie Downtown Merchants Association is hosting its monthly Ladies Night Out on Thursday and Saturday where local shops advertise specials and extended hours.

Businesses involved have extended hours from 5 — 8 p.m.

President of the Waxahachie Downtown Merchants President Amber Caverly said, “This extended time is to holiday shop. We have snacks and drinks or ‘sips’ and people can stroll from store to store for extended hours.”

Calvery added, “We have wine and beer for free. You can sip and stroll for the savings downtown.”

Some specials that are running during these extended hours can be found at the Velvet Angel, a woman’s clothing store. The store is selling select inventory for 40 percent off and is having a sidewalk sale.

Texas Pearls and Co., which sells home furnishings, is offering a creative workshop to fluff up the mantle for fall and the holidays. The shop is also selling candles at two for $25.

Glory Bound, a vintage market, is taking 20 percent off items $10 or more unless already marked down.

The DIY board workshop, Board and Brush, is handing out coupons to every customer for $10 off. They will also be conducting a free raffle to give away a class for two, valued at $130.

Fresh Coffee, located on S. Rogers St., is serving free drinks to veterans all day Saturday.

T.Beresford, which sells original art and American goods, is having a special, buy one get one half off, on their liquor chocolates.

More shops in downtown will be participating in Ladies Night Out.
