WAXAHACHIE — The Southwestern Assemblies of God University volleyball beat Bacone College in three quick sets on Saturday, Sept. 30.

The Lady Lions remain improved to a perfect 7-0 in Sooner Athletic Conference play.

The Lady Lions topped Bacone College 25-13, 25-17 and 25-13. Jessica Sodich led the Lady Lions with 11 kills, 12 digs, and two blocks. Kali Shaw had nine kills, 15 digs, and one block assist. Mollie McBride had six kills, four digs, and one block assists. Paulyae Dawkins added five kills and four block assists.

SAGU had a .302 hitting percentage compared to Bacone’s .102. In fact, SAGU’s numbers were better than Bacone’s in every major statistical category. The Lady Warriors were led by Justine Sandoval with 13 kills.

The Lady Lions will compete against Oklahoma City on Friday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. in Waxahachie.
