Probably more than ever in the history of mankind, there are more people today wondering aimlessly and completely lost while seeking to fill an empty place inside.
Young people are desperately trying to find their purpose in this world. A lot of them are looking to drugs and alcohol or to pre-marital sex, doing anything they can to fill the void inside of their hearts.
Some adults are just as bad.
They too feel this void inside, and they wonder what they can do make themselves feel better — perhaps it’s a new car or a new spouse. Every day these individuals attempt to find what they can do or buy to give them what they want so desperately.
Many think, "if I could just make this much money I know I would be happy."
Teenagers and men and women of all ages are all going through their day right now, just hoping that they will somehow find what will fill that void they feel inside.
Satan loves to get us to this point. It’s almost like having someone in a very tight headlock.
If you’ve never been in a good headlock, let me tell you: when someone has your head in a good headlock, you will cry uncle pretty quick. You cannot move and it hurts!
That’s where Satan has a lot of you. When he gets you there, he reaches down on his tool belt and he grabs one of his best arsenals against you — discouragement. Once he has you discouraged, he begins telling you how sorry you are and depression quickly sets in.
The great news is that God is Alive. God is here! He sees, He hears and He knows. Yes, He knows everything. Yes, everything!
He knows how you got here, but better than that, He knows how He will get you out of there.
He opens doors that no man can open. He closes doors that no man can close. Where there is not a path, not a way possible, no direction, He makes a way. The crooked paths become straight. The impossible gives way for His opportunity through us, to shine and be glorified.
I’ll tell you a little secret: God loves the impossible. In fact He specializes in the impossible. So, if you believe that lie that Satan is whispering in your ear — the one that says your case is too far gone, there is no hope for you — God especially wants you to know this, “God loves you just like you are and he accepts you with all of your failures and faults and disappointments.” He is here to reach down and to extend His hand to you. All you have to do right now is look up and take his hand.
God won’t ask you to walk through a door He hasn’t already walked through and isn’t already standing on the other side of. He is there waiting for you right now.
There is nothing on this Earth that you can find, buy or use that will fill that emptiness you feel inside every day. There is only one thing that will satisfy you and will fill you up to overflowing, and that is God, and His name is Jesus!
All you have to do is confess with your mouth that you know you are a sinner, ask Him to forgive you of all of your sins and believe He died on the cross for your sins and He arose again on the third day to conquer death and the grave.
If you ask Him into your heart and believe that Jesus is the Son of God, He will come into your heart, forgive you of all of your sins and you will instantly feel something inside of you that you have never felt before. That emptiness will be completely gone and it will never return.
We have ALL fallen short and we have all sinned. There is nothing we can actually do to earn God’s love. His love is already there just waiting for us to receive it. His love and plan of salvation for us is a gift from God. He just asks that we love Him and believe in Him.
Give Him your life today!
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord; plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you a hope and a future. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life.
There is nothing that will make you happier or will satisfy you as the eternal love of Jesus.
Do something to make a difference in someone’s life today!
