Charles Walter Evans of Whitney, Texas passed away at his home on Sunday, July 16, 2017, at the age of 81. He was born December 27, 1935, to Vernon and Nora Faye Evans of Wichita Falls, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Love Evans. They were married for 59 years.

Charles retired from Vought Aircraft after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Arlington 438 and the Maypearl Lodge. He loved working and restoring old cars. He spent many years operating the Busy Bee Café in Maypearl, Texas.

He is survived by 5 children; two sons, Steve Evans and Debbie Ortega of Buckeye, AZ; David Evans and wife Jennie of Maypearl, Texas.; three daughters; Kim Jackson and husband Monty of Maypearl, Texas, Tammie Shemberger and husband Rick of Azle, Texas, and Debbie Wiggins and husband David of Waxahachie, Texas. Fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Charles, AKA Charlie, Chuckie and Daddy will be missed by many, but we all know he is in a better place.

A private service will be held following cremation in Maypearl, Texas at a later date.
