WAXAHACHIE — Police are seeking help from the public in connection with a missing Red Oak man.

Andrew Perez, 25, was reported missing by his mother on Tuesday.

“Mr. Perez was last seen in Waxahachie on June 30. He is about 5’8” and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes,” Waxahachie Police Lt. Todd Woodruff said. “At that time she (the mother) reported that no family or friends have seen or had contact with Andrew since June 30. “

Woodruff said detectives determined he visited Gold's Gym around noon on June 30. The gym is located in the 500 block of N. U.S. Highway 77.

“We’ve been able to verify he went to the Waxahachie Walmart store at 4:20 p.m. the same day. After reviewing surveillance, we believe he willingly left the Walmart parking lot at approximately 4:30 p.m. with two persons in a tan Ford Econoline van or similar vehicle,” Woodruff stated. “These two persons may have been peddling bread or other goods in the Walmart parking lot.”

Anyone with information about Perez is asked to contact the Waxahachie Police Department at 469-309-4400. The police department is located at 216 N. College St. in downtown Waxahachie.
