To the editor,

I am writing this letter in support of Judd McCutchen, who is seeking a position on the Waxahachie ISD School Board.

I have known Judd and his family for over 17 years. I was blessed, to have had the opportunity to coach him, as well as three of his Waxahachie High School classmates, at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

I know Judd to be a Godly man, excellent father, and loving husband. I understand the love that he has for Waxahachie and the school district. He chose to live and raise his children here for a reason. Judd is active in his church, the schools, and within the community. He understands the importance of providing a great educational experience, through a great school system.

I believe that Judd will pray over his decisions, and he would make decisions with the best interest of the students in mind. I have complete faith in Judd’s leadership abilities. Judd is honest, dependable, and trustworthy. He would be an asset to the school board.

I have 37 years of educational experience, including 19 years in the public school system. I fully understand the importance of a great school board, focused on the students and working for the betterment of the school district. I also understand that I am not a city resident, and I do not have a vote, but I am appreciative and honored for the opportunity to voice support for Judd McCutchen.

Sincerely,

Randy Mann, Vice President of Athletics, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor
