To the Editor,

These words are my support case for Judd McCutchen for WISD School Board of Trustees. I am writing as a friend and admirer of Judd, someone that I have been blessed to call a close friend for mine for 32 years. During our friendship, I have witnessed his family’s dedication to the Lord and to those in their reach take hold and resonate in Judd. This strong foundation has molded him into a man of character with a passion for others. Judd’s influence in my life was what led my family back to Waxahachie, after being in another state for 20 years. Judd’s passion for Waxahachie is both evident and magnetic. In addition, Judd is a dedicated father to his two beautiful daughters and a faithful husband. However, greater than all those qualities, Judd is a dedicated servant of his Creator and Savior.

It has been humbling to see the work that Judd has dedicated his self to in the last few years. Working hand in hand with other leaders in our community to spread a message of hope and purpose. Judd has chaired numerous Education Foundation events and causes, supported international aid on the mission field and has somehow found time to be a listening ear to those fortunate enough to call him a friend. I have full confidence that Judd will bring this same passion to the school board. Judd will be a servant leader, willing and able to make critical decisions for the betterment of WISD students and faculty.

I ask you to join me in support of Judd McCutchen in his desire to serve his community as a WISD Board of Trustee.

Onward and Upward,

Jon McLaughlin, Executive Director Waxahachie YMCA
