WAXAHACHIE — Students from the Career and Technical Student Organization SkillsUSA competed at the District 6 contest held Feb. 17-18 in Waxahachie. SkillsUSA serves students enrolled in CTE courses aligned with the Architecture & Construction, Human Services-Cosmetology, Manufacturing, and Transportation and Logistics academic clusters.

According to the Waxahachie ISD press release, students learn valuable skills and information that will contribute to their education and careers.

In total, 17 Waxahachie High School students advancing to the state SkillsUSA contests.
