WAXAHACHIE — As members of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce sliced through the formal ribbon cut to honor a special small business, Diversified Sourcing Solutions was officially welcomed to its newest location off North Highway 77.
“It’s fun and exciting, and there’s so much growth right now, so we’re real excited,” expressed Stephanie Mohr, DSS Vice President of Sales and Operations. “Waxahachie has absolutely been welcoming. It’s so cute and quaint, and it’s a great little town.”
Founded in 1989, the company continues to strive for the best staffing solutions possible in the shortest amount of time permissible. DSS’s corporate culture benefits clients in areas such as personal attention, relentless customer service, and immediate satisfaction for employees and the workforce.
The staffing agency concentrates in contingent staffing solutions primarily operating in employment agencies and industries within the business service categories.
“We’re a national staffing firm with a presence in six different states,” Mohr stated. “We’ve been in business for just under 30 years, and we specialize in placing contract, contract to hire, and direct hire for folks in various positions and industries.”
Operating across the board, Mohr explained that DSS has specialized divisions in logistics, office administration, IT, accounting, and a number of different sectors.
“All of the candidates and employees that we’re placing are in various locations. So that includes referrals through the job board searches, word of mouth, and other avenues,” Mohr added.
Varying on the client’s needs, Mohr added that, “some folks are shorter term, or project based where it’s more of a temporary situation, and others are long-term where they’d like to go on.”
Although DSS has a vast network across the state, the Waxahachie office predominantly focuses on local placements within Ellis County.
Bringing a big city commodity to smaller areas, DSS re-opened its doors March 9, carrying a homegrown vibe with local Senior Operations Manager Jacob Holsinger.
“I’m the third generation from Waxahachie. I’ve only lived here and I love it,” Holsinger laughed. “DSS just relocated to this area. We were in Waxahachie, I guess for about ten years. We were just tucked away and hidden off Solon Road behind the apartments.”
Now visible with office walls painted in bright pink and green, DSS cannot be missed among their neighboring businesses.
“This is a great location with tons of development,” Mohr complimented, coming from the Dallas, Fort-Worth area.
Following the ceremonial ribbon cutting, the Waxahachie Chamber presented the business with an official Membership plaque and the United States Certificate of Commendation from Senator Ted Cruz.
“This comes from Senator Cruz, and we want to welcome you, now that you’re re-opening in Waxahachie,” applauded Pete Havel, President, and CEO of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce.
Among the many greetings, Sandy King and Bonney Ramsey also acknowledged the staff of DSS, as they finished the ceremony with a few additional congratulatory words.
“We’re so glad you’re here. We also want to make sure you utilize the benefits we have to help you market to the people who live close by,” smiled Sandy King, CFO and Director of Membership for the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce.
“We’re so happy to have you.,” affirmed Bonney Ramsey, Chair of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce. “And we’re here for you, whatever you need. We’re excited to have you.”
