WAXAHACHIE — The Waxahachie Police Department is seeking help from the public about a robbery that took at Walgreens on Feb. 21. Police were dispatched at about 4 a.m. to the 1200 block of Ferris Ave.

“Employees told the officers that three males entered and demanded the money from the safe. No weapons were displayed,” Waxahachie Police Lt. Todd Woodruff said. “When the suspects figured out that they couldn’t open the locked safe they took money from the cash registers and fled.”

Woodruff said all three of the suspect’s faces were covered at the time of the offense. Detectives are reviewing video from surrounding business to try to locate a getaway car or determine if the three fled on foot. Anyone with information about this case can contact Det.
