AUSTIN — The Texas Bar College recently recognized Waxahachie criminal defense attorney, Joseph R. Gallo, on 15 consecutive years of membership in the College.
Gallo, a 1996 graduate of Baylor University School of Law, is a former Assistant Ellis County & District Attorney. He also served a 5-year term as Judge for the City of Waxahachie and his current practice is dedicated exclusively to the practice of Texas criminal defense, the award release states.
The Texas Bar College (TBC), charted by the Supreme Court of Texas in 1981, is an honorary society of lawyers that recognizes and encourages lawyers who maintain and enhance their professional skills and the quality of their service to the public by completing at least double the required hours of continuing legal education each year, according to a TBC press release. TBC also sponsors or otherwise assists in educational activities of significant merit and broad relevance and applicability to the legal profession.
