MIDLOTHIAN An ongoing narcotics investigation conducted by investigators and officers of the Midlothian Police Department led to the arrest of four suspects Sept. 9.

Midlothian officers executed search warrants at a residence in the 700 block of E. Avenue F and 100 block of N. 11th St. and seized more than 24 grams of methamphetamine, 2 ounces of marijuana and a small caliber handgun. Police also seized a 1998 Ford F-150 pickup.

The methamphetamine had an estimated street value of about $5,000, police said.

Officers arrested and charged the following:

Pabalo A. Vasquez, 29, charged with possession of marijuana, bond set at $1,000

Jose Alberto Orozco-Becerra, 28, charged with manufacture and delivery of controlled substance over 4 grams and under 200 grams, a first-degree felony, bond set at $100,000

Amber Vanderzwart, 21, charged with manufacture and delivery of controlled substance in PG 1 over 4 grams and under 200 grams, a first-degree felony, and possession of a controlled substance in PG 1, 1-4 grams, a third-degree felony, bond set at $130,000

Richard McIntyre, age not listed, charged with manufacture and delivery of controlled substance in PG 1 over 4 grams and under 200 grams, a first-degree felony; possession of controlled substance in PG 1, 1-4 grams, a third-degree felony; and possession of controlled substance PG 2, 2-4 grams, a third-degree felony; bond set at $160,000

All suspects were booked into the Midlothian City jail and arraigned by City Judge Susan Martin, police said.
