September is the first full academic month of the year. ‘The birthstone of September, the sapphire, is associated with the meaning, “clear thinking.”

The ninth month of the year is definitely appropriate time to take to heart the meaning of September’s birthflower, the forget-me-not, and remember to visit your public library!

Meadows High School and Public Library offers more than 33,000 items to supplement any student’s learning environment.

A variety of activities on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the library include Classic Movie Night at 6 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 29.
