Chairman of the board and CEO Jeff Frazier has announced the recent promotion of Pam Underwood to president of Vintage Bank.
One of the founding members of Vintage Bank when it opened in Waxahachie in 2001, Underwood has served as chief operating officer and executive vice president and has seen the bank grow from an initial $28 million in assets in 2001 to more than $140 million in the fourth quarter of 2010.
“Underwood was chosen for the position of president because of her financial acumen and unparalleled experience. In the years that we’ve worked together, Pam has never failed to impress me with her work ethic, leadership, and her outright financial common sense,” Frazier said. “Pam is a leader in the community and we know that with her abilities, Vintage Bank will continue to grow and remain a strong, independent financial resource in Ellis County.”
Frazier said that Underwood’s promotion is part of Vintage Bank’s commitment to being a local financial resource staffed with local residents and serving local needs. The bank currently has three locations; all in Ellis County.
In addition to her position at Vintage Bank, Underwood is known among equestrians as a prize-winning barrel racer and active member of the Cowboy Church in Waxahachie. Underwood is married to Reggie Underwood and has two daughters and one son.
Vintage Bank is a locally owned, independent community bank that offers a full range of bank services. The bank operates in Waxahachie, Midlothian and North Ellis County and employs more than 40 local residents.
