The city of Ovilla will host its annual Heritage Day on Saturday, Sept. 24. The celebration kicks off at 9 a.m. with a parade from Ovilla Road (Farm-to-Market 664) at Ovilla Road Baptist Church to Main Street and then through downtown Ovilla to City Hall. Prizes will be offered in several categories for parade entries. More than 150 vendors and exhibitors have been invited to participate.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m., entertainment will be provided by local choirs and talent as well as nationally recognized entertainers. There will be an entertainment zone that includes pony rides, a petting zoo, jump houses and an obstacle course.
