Keep Glenn Heights Beautiful and local volunteers spent Saturday morning, March 12, doing a little spring cleaning in the wetlands of Heritage Community Park. Volunteers planted five trees, erected five birdhouses built and donated by Boy Scout Troop 1880, cleaned two large raised flower beds, planted wildflower seeds, laid 20 feet of trail and removed 200 pounds of debris and litter. Boy Scout Troop 1880 presented the birdhouses to Thomas Calhoun, Keep Glenn Heights Beautiful board member, and the city council March 7.
