Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth announced today that Elaine Shields, MHA, has been named Vice President of Quality Management. In this position, Shields will serve as a member of the senior leadership team and administer the Quality/Resource Management department, which includes quality/resource management, infection control and risk management. She will provide organization-wide leadership for performance improvement and regulatory compliance while achieving and maintaining hospital accreditation and licensing. Shields brings more than 10 years of proven leadership to her new position at Plaza. She most recently served as Plaza’s Interim Vice President of Quality, Risk, Infection Control and Patient Safety.
