CORSICANA, Texas – Several Dallas Cowboys players will attend the Boys & Girls Clubs of Navarro County’s first fundraising banquet scheduled from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Navarro College Cook Education Center.

A golf social with the Dallas Cowboys players will be held the following day, Friday, April 29, at Corsicana Country Club. The family-friendly events are designed to raise funds for new equipment, computer software and program resources for the youth served at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Navarro County.

Tentative attendees are Sam Hurd, Marcus Spears, Roy Williams, Gerald Sensabaugh, Felix Jones, Marion Barber, Stephen Bowen, Tashard Choice, Andre Gurode, Jason Hatcher and Mike Jenkins.

“This is truly a significant milestone in our organization’s history,” said executive director, Andre Kennard. “These fundraisers are the result of the combined efforts of our dedicated board of directors, resource development committee and staff.”

At this time, the organization is looking for companies and or individuals to secure its remaining sponsorships.

“If you are a Dallas Cowboys fan, know how to swing a mean golf club and would like to dine and golf with your very own Cowboy, you can do so by purchasing one of the following sponsorships,” Kennard said.

A $5,000 sponsorship receives the donor and or his or her company’s name featured on the BGCNC banquet invitation, program and marketing items.

The donor and seven guests will be invited to a pre-banquet VIP reception with members of the Dallas Cowboys team from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, April 28, and will be seated with a Dallas Cowboys player during dinner.

On Friday, April 29, the donor and two of his or her guests will golf with a Dallas Cowboys Player at the Corsicana Country Club.

The donor will receive an NFL football autographed by the attending Cowboys players. Other levels of sponsorship also are available.
