The Ellis County Master Gardener Lawn and Garden Expo is slated from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Waxahachie Civic Center. If you’re traveling from out-of-town, here are the directions to the civic center.

TRAVELING I-35 SOUTH, FROM

DESOTO, RED OAK AREA

Go I-35 South and exit at exit 403. Take the U.S. Highway 287 exit toward Corsicana and stay on the access road going south past Carlisle Chevrolet. Turn right on Sam George. At the next intersection, turn right on John Arden and follow the signs to the Waxahachie Civic Center.

TRAVELING I-35 NORTH, FROM THE HILLSBORO, ITALY AREA

Use I-35 North and exit at exit 403. Take the U.S. 287 exit toward Corsicana and turn right onto John Arden in front of the civic center. Follow the signs to the civic center.

TRAVELING SOUTH ON US 287, FROM MIDLOTHIAN AREA

Take the I-35 (Dallas/Waco exit) and stay on the U.S. 287 South access road past Carlisle Chevrolet. Turn right on Sam George. At the next intersection turn right on John Arden and follow the signs to the civic center.

TRAVELING NORTH ON US 287, FROM ENNIS,

WAXAHACHIE AREA

Take the I-35 (Dallas/Waco exit) to the I-35 South ramp to Waco. Going south on the access road, take the U.S. 287 South exit toward Corsicana and stay on the access road going south past Carlisle Chevrolet. Turn right on Sam George. At the next intersection, turn right on John Arden and follow the signs to the civic center.

There will be dark green and yellow directional markers posted prior to these exits and smaller directional arrows posted along the sides of the highway to assist in guiding you to the Expo.

CONSIDER RIDING THE SHUTTLE

As you approach the Civic Center, you will see signs for Navarro College Shuttle Bus Parking. A Waxahachie ISD bus will shuttle expo attendees between Navarro College parking lot and the civic center. Leave your walking for the expo and enjoy the free shuttle system.
