The officers and board members for the Education Foundation for Waxahachie ISD are pleased to announce the second annual “I love WISD” campaign which will run Feb. 1–28. The campaign is designed to show community support for Waxahachie ISD all the while raising funds for the Waxahachie ISD Education Foundation.

During the month of February, supporters may make donations of either $10 or $50 to the Foundation. For a donation of $10, supporters will receive an I love WISD Window Decal as a thank you. For a donation of $50, donors will receive an “I love WISD” yard sign for their residence or place of business and a window decal as a thank you.

Donations may be made online by visiting www.wisdeducationfoundation.org Printed donation forms are also available online for download or they can be obtained by contacting the Education Foundation office at 972-923-4631. All proceeds directly benefit the Education Foundation for Waxahachie ISD and are tax deductible as defined by the IRS.

The Education Foundation for Waxahachie ISD, which began in 1999, raises funds for innovative teaching grants, dual credit scholarships for students, and professional development scholarships for teachers and staff. Since its inception, the foundation has awarded more than $250,000 to WISD teachers and students in the form of teaching grants and scholarships. This past August, Foundation board members pledged $320,000 to Waxahachie ISD over the next five years.

The Education Foundation is proud to support Waxahachie ISD and we believe the 'I love WISD' campaign will continue to unite the community by showing their pride for our school district.”
