An Ellis County Grand Jury indicted Midlothian resident William John Roblin, 50, Thursday, Jan. 23 on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Ellis County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Robin on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
According to the indictment Roblin allegedly on July 26, 2013 knowingly caused bodily injury to the victim by cutting him. During the offense Roblin allegedly exhibited and used a deadly weapon – a machete. Roblin received a bond of $20,000 and has since bonded out of the Wayne McCollum Detention Center.
