To the Editor,

My name is Rosario Garcia. I am writing to you because I want to tell you that a lot of places in Waxahachie are putting up ripped flags, vandalized flags and letting stay up at night without a light shining on it.

I think they need to stop because it is disrespectful to the state and to our country. Also, I think that if the flag is ripped or vandalized they should either get a new one or not fly it. When businesses fail to keep a light shining on our flag (at night) it brings a dishonor. While our men and women serve this country we need to keep a light shining symbolizing hope, remembrance and prayers for our country.
