Ronald J. Bell (Ronnie), 68, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014. He was born on Feb. 15, 1945 in Lubbock. He moved to Ellis County in 1975 and retired with Owens Corning Fiberglass after 33 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all he loved the time spent laughing and loving his family and friends. Ronnie served in the Army and fought in the Vietnam War.
Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Linda Bell (they met in 1973 then married); his brother, Richard Lane White; his daughters, Renee Motley, Lori Wilson and Lisa Rolls; his son, Ruston Bell; his grandchildren, Mischa Mitcham, Brett Mitcham, Jacey Shoemaker, Kaci Walker, Kodi Walker, John Goodman, Abigail Goodman, Ryan White, Brittany White, Josh White and Tyler Bell; seven great-grandchildren; his niece, Allison Dennard; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at a later date at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
