Daniel Joseph Grannan

Daniel Joseph Grannan born August 8, 1946 to Mamie Holderness Grannan and Francis Grannan in Duluth, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Max Hoffmier, brother Robert Gibson, sister-in-law Eileen Gibson and brother-in-law James Stephenson.
He is survived by his sister, Colleen Stephenson and brother, Dennis Grannan (Sue). He is also survived by his children, Benjamin Grannan (Sheila), Jeremy Grannan (Sarah) and Kristina Talkowski (Rich). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Noah, Matthew, Andrew, Rachel, Courtney and Sarah; along with nieces and nephews, Robert Jr., Carrie, Angela, Joseph, Jennifer and Kimberl; and several great-nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Daniel grew up in Milwaukee, Wisc. and was a transplanted Texan. He served in the Army from 1963-1966 for the military police in Germany. The bulk of his career was spent as an independent contractor for the Dallas Morning.
Arrangements are being handled by Moore Funeral Home of Arlington. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 with visitation from 1:30-2:45 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home, located at 4216 S. Bowen Rd. in Arlington.
