The Waxahachie Police Department is seeking help from the public on information about attempted burglary and vandalism at the Heritage Square Apartments at 501 Houston St.

The incident took place at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25

Lt. Todd Woodruff said the suspect tried to break into the office at the apartment complex. When he saw the surveillance camera he cut the wires on the camera to render it inoperable.

Before sending the text message type “hachie” before the main body of the text message so it will be directed to the organization. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 dollars for information that leads to the arrest and/or conviction of this crime.
