WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) issued the following statement regarding the Office of Personnel and Management’s (OPM) recent decision to continue to allow federal contributions to the health plans of Members of Congress and their staffs:

“Obamacare is bad for everyone in the country, which is why I have fought it at every turn. But until we can repeal and replace it, everyone in the country ought to be treated exactly the same. No special deals for anyone. That will actually increase the leverage to repeal it.”
