The largest Halloween theme park in the world and Waxahachie, Screams, will bring a new level of terror to its 18th season for guests and victims at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27.

Screams unveils its newest attraction, the Hotel of Horror, which will make even the most hardened Halloween enthusiasts scream as they try to escape the narrow hallways, hidden passageways and possessed guests of the all new Hotel of Horror. Experience the unknown terrors around every corner.

The Hotel of Horror is sure to conjure reminiscences of its infamous predecessors – the Bates Motel and the Overlook Hotel from “The Shining.”

Screams is one of the best Halloween experiences, offering a full night of chills, thrills and guaranteed moments of terror with five haunted attractions. In addition to the all new Hotel of Horror, other attractions include the Castle of Darkness, Ghoulish Graveyard, Unkel Koy’s Klown Maze and the 3-D Pirates of Peril Point. Tickets to Screams include admission into all five haunted attractions as well as Scary-Oke (Screams version of karaoke) and live music.

Visitors can also enjoy (at an additional cost) games, human-powered rides, Tarot card readings, Wax Hands and so much more. Food and drink are plentiful at the Screams food court, the Full Moon Café full service restaurant or Taboo Tavern. Must be 21 to purchase alcohol and free private club membership is required.

“We can’t wait for the people of North Texas to experience the awesome new Hotel of Horror. It is a stellar addition to our other four haunted attractions and will make the Halloween experience at Screams even more fun and frightening,” said Screams General Manager Coy Sevier. “If you haven’t been before, you have got to come out this year. Five haunted attractions, live music, Scary-oke, games, rides, food and drinks, even a beer if you are over 21. What more could you ask for?”

Screams Halloween Theme Park will run five consecutive weekends Friday and Saturday nights 7:30 p.m.–1:30 a.m. from Sept. 27 – Oct. 26 plus Sunday, Oct. 27 from 7:30 p.m.–11 p.m. Screams will not be open Halloween night.
